Technical Due Diligence Fundamentals
Technical Due Diligence (“TDD”) is a demanding field of expertise that is characterized by client-oriented advice, tight delivery time frames and high liability risks.
Therefore, a consultant must master three crucial competencies to be successful in this field:
- Subject matter knowledge
- Understanding the client
- Being in control of the process
This training is designed to familiarize you with the characteristics of the TDD profession. Alongside the typical contents and procedures of Technical Due Diligence, the training particularly focuses on the perspective of the typical clients of the real estate sector (lenders, investors, insurers, and developers).
This training caters to both starters and experienced professionals in the field of Technical Due Diligence.
As this training will teach the fundamentals of the TDD profession, no specific knowledge is required for this training. The training materials and examples will provide you with a realistic impression of the work.
The training is suited for all building-related professional backgrounds e.g. building surveyors, building services engineers, architects, project managers, etc.
You will learn the fundamentals of the TDD profession, the contents of typical TDD work practices and how to perform these effectively and in a client-oriented manner. As part of the training, you will encounter typical technical risks which are regularly encountered in the TDD practice.
